Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information DoppelGAN ("we", "us") collects through this website and the DoppelGAN app, and how we use it. The short version: your videos, webcam and microphone never leave your PC.

What stays on your PC

The DoppelGAN app processes your clips, your webcam and your microphone entirely on your computer. We never receive, upload or store your recordings, camera feed or audio.

What we collect

• Website analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
• Emails you send us. If you email support@doppelgan.com or sign up for early access, we keep your email address and message so we can reply and contact you about DoppelGAN.
• Trial and license checks. To run the free trial and license keys, the app sends an anonymous device identifier (a scrambled code made from your PC's Windows ID, not your name) and your license key to our servers and to our payment provider. This tells us when your trial started and which PCs a license is active on.
• Purchases. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email, billing details and payment information under its own privacy policy. We receive your email, order details and license key, but never your full card number.
• Optional emails. If you choose to get a reminder before your trial ends, or join a waitlist, we store your email with our email provider (Brevo) to send those messages. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

How we use it

• To provide the app, the free trial and your license
• To answer support requests
• To send emails you asked for
• To understand how the website is used and improve it

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Service providers

We use Cloudflare (website hosting, analytics and our trial/license servers), Lemon Squeezy (payments and license keys) and Brevo (email). They process data on our behalf, or as independent controllers for payments.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, tax records kept by our payment provider).

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailingsupport@doppelgan.com. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights, and we will honor them.

Children

DoppelGAN is not intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
